We are new at this.

We have been wanting to keep in contact with our family. Maybe this is the way to do it. Some folks like facebook and some don't so we will try to do both.

  1. Family Reunion July 26-29, 2012
Well I hope this is where we are supposed to enter posts. We just finished our EEL/GBL Family reunion. We held it at the Cedar City KOA. It was successful. we had about 60 people there. We were glad to see so many cousins that we had not seen for a long time. We were hoping to see Cody and Julie and family but they had some family things happen that kept them away.
Lars and Cristi could not come because of expense. They say they will be in Las Vegas on Thanksgiving 2013. We look forward to that time to be together again. Maybe the rest of the family can come then too. Time will tell.
Karalee and family made the effort to be there and participate in the doin's that were happening. Margene, Justin and family were there too. We sure enjoyed their stay.
I will have to learn to post pictures here and then get some pictures from Sarah, Lorie and Sandie or someone else because I did not take pictures, even with my IPhone.
There was a story aluded to about a fire that burned down along the Blacks Fork Canal from Just below the Bluemel place, which is now the Carroll place, to our place. Dad, Ervin Erastus Larsen, and my youngest brother Louis went out to see the fire. Mom and Louis said that Louis had nightmares for a long time after that. Louis will have to add his recolections to this story. As the fire burned down along the canal it got to our property. The canal cuts across diagonally across our property and could have caused much distruction. Dad looked at the fire and must have used his Priesthood to command the fire to stop. It burned down to and thru our fence and stopped about 12 feet inside our property. Dad told me afterward that he had told the Lord that he had paid his tithing and that that was fire insurance and to keep the covanant that he had made with Him. I am sure Louis can add more to this story. I have always respected Dadz's faith and consistant efforts to pay his Tithing and other obligations.
